This is our new Bunny! He's a Holland lop And we're fostering to adopt. His rescue name was Bertie but we don't love that so we want to change it.
He's the same coloring as our first rabbit, Thumper, who was a Netherland Dwarf. We then had a Netherland Dwarf named Oswald, who sadly passed before even turning two. It's taken us almost three months since his passing to get here.
Both Thumper and Oswald are Disney rabbit names. We don't love any other Disney rabbit names really.
I was hoping for Thumps Jr but my husband said he'd call him TJ and we have a family friend with a kid nicknamed TJ so that is a no go for me.
He's very shy but is opening up (has only been home with us 24 hours and he was a breéder rabbit who wouldn't produce so the breéder left him in a hutch with minimum contact for 2 years before offering him up.)
He has let out a few thumps as well. His rescue foster said he was so so shy at first but had recently opened up and even would just sit on her lap and let her pet him.
