So the original person I bought my rabbits from used something similar to this. This one came highly rated, and I could upsize the bottle by substituting a fuji water bottle.
I've seen both of my rabbits drink from them, so they are perfectly aware of what they are.
I have a shallow casserole dish for my boy, because he is strong, and kept knocking other bowls over. Add to that combination a genetic flaw (i.e. a single floppy ear) that causes him to tilt his head as he drinks, the side of his face is always wet. Which I don't want for obvious reasons.
My girl has started for the first time knocking her bowl over. Which empties it, and then I have a minor coronary in the morning finding her with an empty water dish. So I added the same system to hers.
My dilemma?
I'm afraid to take the dishes out T_T for fear they won't get enough water. Any thoughts?
