I moved recently and tried to house my 2 bunns together. My bunn son (4) started humping his bunn wife (8) which he’s never done before so I separated them. Their x pens are still attached. They used to only share 1 wall but now they share a much bigger wall of the xpen. They’re both fixed. As a result of his dominant behavior she’s begun territorially covering the blankets on their rug with piss. It doesn’t matter if I just cleaned. They have 2 litter boxes each. It takes me hours to do their laundry and clean everything. I don’t even have time to take care of myself. The little guy just got the snuffles I imagine from the pee. After a bad living situation with severe mold and roaches for years we now both have breathing problems. Therefore, I am grateful to live in a safe environment for the first time in my life. They have their own room with a hepa air purifier and an open window and door but the odor won’t leave. I can’t put them anywhere else. Please do not suggest I move or get rid of them as other people in my life have. It is not an option and not helpful. Please be kind. I have chronic pain and illness and am doing my best. I don’t know how to get her to stop pissing everywhere. Maybe there’s an easier way to clean I’m just not seeing. She’s never been great at using only the box but not this bad. Can you teach an old bunn new tricks? They just don’t listen to me at all.
