I run a nonprofit rescue mainly geared towards rabbbits. And I’ve gotten surrenders of newborns or mothers who lost interest in their kits. I always see people getting their baby rabbits to live by feeding them themselves, but in all my 20 years of attempting to hand-rear kits IVE never been able to do it!! I have done so much research, gotten the right milk the right syringe, bottle warmer, warming pad, feed twice a day a certain ml. LITERALLY never was successful. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, dribbling milk into their mouths for multiple babies takes hours and they still manage to aspirate. Or finally when I get them to the point to learn to super suckle it’s too late. Does anyone have any advice on what I could be doing wrong? I just feel like giving up completely
