Hello!
My bounded bunnies broke up in a fight for the second time since I bounded them.
Celeste, F 5yo fixed went in for a fight with Solen M 1yo fixed randomly on monday evening. I separated their fight, got Celeste in a pen in another room for the night to let them both calm down. Next day I got them into the same room again separated by a pen.
Both went to the vet, they are both healthy and have no wounds from the fight.
This is the second time a fight like this happens and I have to rebound them. I am very confused at what is causing this. Their first bounding was very slow but went very well, Celeste is the dominante, Solen the submissive and they both groom each other. They have a very big room with many toys, dig box, a giant litter box and a smaller one.
Every time I bounded them I made them date in neutral spaces, then got them 2 weeks in a small space and then extended slowly to the big room.
I am getting very tired of re-bounding them every two months. It’s making me regret adopting Solen a lot and I am starting to think Celeste might have been better as a solo bun.
Did any one have such experience? How did you solve it? Thanks!
