So my bunny is 4 years old and it's a female (not neutered), her name's butter. She's bleeding since today morning. We took her to the vet and they suggested the following medicines:
1. Melonex suspension..3 drops orally twice daily for 5 days
2. Meriquin suspension…12 drops orally thrice daily for 5 days
3. aRBCe syrup..2drops orally twice daily for 5 days
4. Tranexamic 500mg tablet…1/12 th part orally twice daily for 5 days
And they suggested to consult again after five days. But the bleeding was severe and a lot of blood was spotted in multiple places. I'll share one picture for context that how much blood she's actually lost. She's bled this much 5-6 times today already. Now the bleeding has ceased. It's coming out of her anus/vagina. But the last time she urinated, she bled again. The blood seemed lighter this time. But she's already lost so much blood.
I have looked up everywhere about this and they say it's a severe emergency as rabbits have such a low blood volume so any case of bleeding could be fatal. I am really scared and I don't know what to feel. For now the medications are going on but honestly I always feel like if there's something more we could do.
