Bunny

Rescued this bunny last week, is this a good sign?

One of my family members has some rental property and told me tenants were reporting a pet rabbit dumped there. The owner was a few houses away and said she didn’t want to try to get the bunny. So the bunny had been outside in the changing cold weather for about a month, living under a porch.

I met my family member last week and put some banana in a dog crate, and voila— bunny acquired. It’s been a week (and yes I’m scheduling a future vet visit), but bunny has been using a litter box and has a blanketed dog kennel for a hide. Otherwise he’s been free-roaming.

Today he saw me sitting on the floor and just plopped down like this. Good sign?

Yeah, bunny obviously is happy and comfortable around you. Rabbits are very social so your company is welcome. Also, pet his head and cheeks a lot!!

Awww he’s so cute bunny’s are some of the best pets, they can be destructive tho make sure to have lots of toys around and keep any cords high off the ground or covered

  7. When they flop like that it means they feel happy and safe! I’m sure the lil one already loves you! They also loaf like cats, it’s adorable 🥹❤️

Of course you know it’s a good sign! Frankly, I would be worried if you didn’t know that that was a good sign 😂
