So, the traps worked! I went yesterday after work and bought a couple traps from Harbor freight. They were the cheapest I could find, and loaning or renting was a pain in the ass. I baited them with nanners and stuck them under the house. I checked this morning before work and there were no buns, but my wife called me around 12:30 and said we had bunnies! Happy days! She stuck them in our green house until we figure something else out. I also found a pin. Anyway, I know it’s not ideal but I did cut a cardboard box as a hide and to get them off the shavings we have as a floor in the green house. I do realize cedar is toxic and why, so please don’t berate me as I am doing my best. We put out rabbit food and water, and covered the pin with a blanket for the night. The greenhouse stays above freezing so it shouldn’t be any different than them being under the house.
I reset the traps to get the third and (maybe fourth) one. It’s at my neighbor’s house.
My wife wants to keep them. So now we’re going to be getting everything we need to do that. Oh fun.

Btw rabbits do not prefer the pine or wood shaving bedding, since they don’t have pads on their feet like dogs and cats, they find it irritating. Paper bedding or shredded paper would be preferred for them. But thank you for helping them and doing so much already.

Thank you for saving them! Just a tip, I would separate them. If one is pregnant, you might get some little bunnies soon and they can get pregnant again right after they give birth 😅

These babies look exactly like my old rabbit! He was rehomed by my parents and I never heard much about him after that, but they look so alike! Even down to the weird fur streak on their side and their moppy little faces LOL

If you have any questions about bunny ownership feel free to ask, the priority would be a space at home and a vet check-up, and if they arent spayed that should be a priority or you will be swarmed by bunnies.
