Me and my boyfriend are buying a house together and he has always previously been for the rabbits being inside the house.
The house we are buying has loads of real oak, the floors, skirtings etc and he’s worried the rabbits will have a field day with the wood.
There’s a shed in the garden which is big as it was the previous owners workshop but I just hate that they’ve been inside with me and now they’ll be outside in a shed. We will also do an outside caged off area for them too (the word cage triggers me 🥲)
We are going to do it up nicely, insulate it and I will have a thermometer on the wall to gauge temperatures but I just hate the idea of them not being in the house.
Is there anything I can do to protect the oak or ways to convince my boyfriend to just let them eat it haha? I have 3 months to come up with something!
