I’ve seen a few posts from people asking why their rabbits are digging and sometimes making a mess. I’m posting a couple of photos so you can see what they’re trying to do. Rabbits are natural engineers; I have a Rex who has kicked up a whole wheelbarrow of dirt (that we removed) while tunneling – he’s quite industrious and skilled at his work. Their digging grounds are bordered by pavement on all sides so there is no risk of them digging out.
