for context, my bunny is a year old. he had a GI stasis episode some time ago (roughly around the end of july) and got through it in a week.
he's been okay all night and yesterday, he pooped and peed and ate some hay and treats and up until a few hours ago he seemed active (his usual self)
at 12pm (it's currently almost 3pm) he stopped eating and has been laying down since then, refusing treats and food.
i don't know if he's getting sick or if he's just being lazy, please help!!!! he's naturally a very calm bunny and does sleep a lot but it's not like himself to reject treats.

Cut back on his sugar intake. Banana, blueberry, carrot. Even his treats if he is going into stasis too much. If you’re worried enough then buy something called “critical care.” Follow the directions on the package to mix it. Insert into feeding syringe and force feed it to him to make his intestines start moving again. Which will cause him to go to the bathroom, making him feel better. You can also rub his tummy if he allows you to.
Keep an eye on him. Baby gas drops can help in these situations, along with crit care.
If you’re unsure of what to do, then vets is always safer than sorry.
Primperam can also help to get their digestive system moving, but that might be prescription only
Pls don’t wait. Take to vet asap. Have someone accompany you if possible. Have that person gently rub his tummy. Then side to side. Make sure carrier has a study flat bottom and place him in it carefully. Try not to bend his stomach while in transit. If time allows it Quickly look up a utube demo on tummy rubs for stat-is. More importantly know where his tummy is and how to rub it. Some are not really sure. Get him to a vet asap. Sorry I am not a vet don’t mean to panic you. Just speaking from experience. Wishing you and your baby the best. I wouldn’t try to force feed emergency food or water before speaking to a vet 1st. Get him in quickly.
UPDATE!!!! he’s fine. he literally started eating as soon as i finished my post. he sucks
