I just got my 8 week old baby 2 days ago. I tried to free roam him on the first day (my mistake, I know) and all he wanted to do was hide in my bathroom and he became very resistant to being picked up. My breeder told me he needs to be in a small cage or pen for 4-6 weeks and totally dependent on me before I consider free roaming him. I have been seeing mixed messages online and on YouTube. 4-6 weeks feels likes a long time… I’m so nervous he’s not going to be happy at my place or won’t bond with me. Any tips and tricks or words of wisdom would be helpful!!
