Just lost my baby, can’t do it anymore

Hi everyone,

I am looking to rehome our newer bunny Pancake. We got him 4 months ago to bond with our female Toast. He's about 2-3 years old, neutered and is partially blind in one eye but very sweet and loves being petted and loves his veggies. He doesnt love being held but he has experience with kids, dogs and cats.

We just lost Toast suddenly today to some sort of infection/stasis combination and im absolutely heartbroken. We tried everything aside from hospitalization since her prognosis was so poor and she was in septic shock. We got her from the humane society 6 years ago and shes always been the sweetest baby, affectionate and cuddle, giving kisses and just being lovely. She was my baby.

She is the 3rd bunny we've had and the 3rd we've lost traumatically. My first was too weak to recover from the anesthesia (spay), the second passed from cancer and now Toast. I mentally cannot handle it anymore. I know bunnies are a lot of work and sensitive and I signed up for this, and have willingly done so for over a decade, but I only got Pancake for her, and now that she's gone I dont think I can be the owner he needs and I can't deal with the future loss.

Please if anyone is wanting a friendly, neutered male, technically special needs for his partial blindness? We are located in Arizona. Ive looked at rescues but there are only a few and they are completely overwhelmed.
