vet has never mentioned concern. his pee is usually paler and darkens with age as i can see on his various pale-coloured pee pads. i'm thinking it gets dark like this because he sometimes pees on hay, and when that breaks down it results in a darker liquid.
the stained fur in question is dry, as you can see the other parts of his legs and feet and his butt are clean, he's active and playful, eating well, grooming well. when do i know if the pee fur becomes a problem / should be examined by a vet? thank you!
