Billi, the grey one who’s 5 years old, and Smulan, the cookie-dough one who’s 1 year old, have been going through bonding sessions lately. Today was the first time they groomed each other. I know this is a crucial step in the process, so I was wondering where to go from here? I wanna try releasing them together in the area where they live permanently as this is purely a small, neutral area I’ve chosen for the bonding sessions, but I feel like it might be too early for that? Especially since there still seems to be a small uncertainty of who’s the dominant one. Although they’re not hostile at all and lay beside each other while resting.
I’m conflicted, so I thought might as well post here and ask since I’ve gotten great advice before. If you wanna as how they behaved in the earlier sessions i posted a video of that a while back that you can look at.
