Hello all! I took my 13 week old (baby) continental giant bunny to the vet yesterday after concerns she wasn’t eating. Rabbit savvy vet examined her and determined her to be healthy. Since yesterday, I’ve been monitoring her closely and indeed she is pooping like a champ, her poops are great looking, good water intake and output. She just won’t touch pellets. I have observed she eats tons and tons of hay (she has access to unlimited amounts). I know there were different views on this yesterday, but if she is eating exclusively hay as a BABY and a GIANT, will this be enough nutrients to grow big and strong? I know her diet should be mostly hay, but no pellets at all at this tender age? Video of this hay monster included below. 🙂
