Am I wrong for waiting until after the first of the year to get this guy fixed? My main concern is making sure he’s old enough.

First things first I love this guy to bits. He’s literally my best buddy and my baby.

I haven’t even had him for three months yet, and he already cuddles with me on a daily basis. We are pretty much inseparable. It’s pretty much with me all day every day outside of like a couple hours when I have to run errands or something.

He’s around six months old. We’ve been to the vet and he’s had his shots and all of that stuff, and they gave me the quote on getting him fixed. They estimated he was around six months old at the time. The price isn’t the issue. I will literally pay anything to keep this guy happy. I would do absolutely anything for him. I just wanna be sure.

My main concern is wanting to make sure he’s old enough to go through this procedure and give himself the best possible chance of a quick recovery. My biggest fear is that he could have some reaction to the anesthetic or something, or he might just be slightly too young for it and something could go wrong.

Maybe I’m overthinking it. I promised him after we went to his booster shot appointment a couple weeks ago, that I would wait until after the first of the year to get this procedure scheduled.

I don’t wanna see him weird but I’d rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough.

Thank you for any thoughts and opinions.
