My bun Domino had a very sudden decline in his health Saturday that lead to me rushing him to the nearest animal ER that specializes with rabbits and even though the dr said his heart and lungs sounded great his core temp had dropped to 95 and they couldn’t do much to save him without risking him passing from the stress of them trying to stabilize him. I ended up deciding to have him euthanized and I hate that I even had to make that choice but I didn’t want him to possibly pass scared and alone without me there with him. He was my first bunny and I didn’t even know I ever even wanted to have a pet bunny till I was gifted him. I still remember when my mom sent me the first pic when she got him for me as a surprise during Covid and the 5 years I had with him don’t feel long enough 😞
