Rabbit

My girls who I thought were impossible to bond proved me wrong

Meet Tomato (left) and Koopa (right). Just a week ago, I was this close to putting Tomato up for adoption because she was so aggressive. She would lunge, growl, and bite just from smelling Koopa through her pen. I genuinely thought she was unbondable.

Out of desperation, I decided to try one last time, I put them side by side in a neutral spot. And to my surprise, Tomato didn’t attack. Day by day, she started to soften. The growls turned into nips, the nips turned into grooming… and now look at them.

They loaf together, groom each other, and nap like best friends. I still can’t believe this is the same rabbit who couldn’t even handle Koopa’s scent a week ago.
