So I found a lil (well he’s actually quite big) bunny on the side of the road next to my house. Just brought him home and my mom and me looked him over for any major injuries, which he doesn’t seem to have any.
Lil guy is currently in my bathroom with some leafy greens, water and a towel. He has some sever matting on his tummy so I might try to tackle that tomorrow if he’s doing ok. He also has dried mud and dirt stuck in his hair. He’s very docile right now, I’m not sure if it’s shock or just his personality yet.
It has been a LONG time since I owned rabbits and I want to give this guy the very best I can, so I humbly ask for your guys favorite products that may help him out with his mats and dirtiness, as well as good foods and snacks you prefer. I know I can do a lot of research on my own but I’ve found long time pet owners know a lot that can be helpful too. I do plan on taking him to the vet at some point as well, we have one really close that’s pretty low cost.
Ps. Maybe some name ideas if you guys have any, even if I don’t keep him, a name might make him feel better if that doesn’t sound too silly. I’ll attach a pic so you know what he looks like, keep in mind he’s a little dirty right now, I didn’t want to stress him out by cleaning him when he just got here.
