Hi all! Thank you so much for your help and kind words on my last post. We have since adopted a wonderful shelter rabbit from a nearby shelter. She was surrendered by her owner, who microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated her before surrendering her. She is calm, loves people, and likes to sit in laps. We were truly blessed by the bunny gods with her. We have started bonding (slowly) and it is going… okay. Any advice would be appreciated. For now she is living in our bedroom (our boy bunny roams the living room).
Our newly adopted bunny is named Daphne (Daphne and Daniel)! We love her so much already, she is an incredible joy and a wonderful bunny. I cannot imagine why her owner had to surrender her and I am sure it was not the owner’s first choice. I feel terrible every time I think about it. A bunny who was so clearly loved and appreciated, taken away from her person. But now, she is home forever 🙂
