We officially hit one month together as of Sunday, and are halfway into our fifth week now.
Last week had a big scare with a bout of gas and GI stasis, which I got him through over two days. He's now back to his happy hoppy self. This Halloween tunnel has been a favorite, and he's also been getting acclimated to his travel carrier. I took the door off and put some hay inside giving him access to it like another hide in his pen and he has been going in to hang out and snack.
I lost so much sleep and spoons frought with worry over this little guy during the days he wasn't feeling well. When he hit me with his first headbutt after it all, I could have cried tears of joy. I never expected him to have such an impact on me, but this little rescued soul has forever left fuzzy footprints on my heart.
