We adopted these two handsome boys back in December when they were about 10 weeks old. They are littermates and were inseparable when we brought them home. They were both neutered in June and after the 6 week mark we were able to start attempting to rebond them. Here we are now in September, getting closer to their 1st birthdays and they are back together and loving every minute of it! (at least I think they love it)
The first few days of having them back together free roaming (after weeks of short bonding sessions in a neutral space, and a couple extra weeks of bonding in a limited playpen in their normal free roaming space) they were both running around and binkying like crazy! We’ve seen them jumping over their tunnels, running through the tunnels and just having a ball! So happy the slow process of rebonding was worth it because even though we’ve seen them binky when out and about on their own terms when separated, they were not as frequent, and the jumps weren’t nearly as high either! They seem to be much happier now that they are back together, and I can’t wait to get a bigger home for them to have even more space 🥰
