Have you met a lionhead rabbit before?
I have one little Netherland Dwarf bunny, Ted Theodore Logan, who has a big personality. My other bunny is a big French Lopear, Rufus Anderson Cooper. He's my cuddle bug.
Please do a series on rabbit breads! I canβt wait to hear all about a dutchie ππ½β€
Me and my family used to have a beautiful brown double mane lionhead bunny. He was a very proud bunny, and he loved fresh fruit and dandelion greens as treats. He also loved being picked up and snuggled which was surprising considering his breed. He would jump up on the couch and stuff himself between me and the corner cushion and wait for pets. Unfortunately he died young at around age 5 due to an E. cuniculi infection. His buddy is an adorable white Rex with brown and black spots, and he is still around. He loves snuggling on the floor, but unlike his buddy, he isn't very found of couches.
I would definitely recommend a lionhead rabbit. Mine was very sweet, and he was very well behaved when it came to litter box use and not chewing up furniture. Although during molting season he constantly shed, he needed to be brushed once a day, and nail clipping was sometimes a challenge because he had so much fluff. And the hair around his eyes needed to be carefully trimmed so he could actually see.
I always wanted a lion head but knowing about the cons of having one
Hi Lorelei!
I have been looking for and have been wanting a dwarf bunny for decades. What would the plus and minuses be of having a dwarf and also how can you be certain it will be a dwarf?
Thank you in advance and take care dear!
Lion heads may be fierce with their attitude, but they canβt roar. although itβs better that they donβt roar.
Our 1st two rabbits (Ms.Bun and Eclipse) were lionhead buns.. Sadly we lost Eclipse to skin cancer in 2021, though Ms. Bun is still with us. We now have 3 more lionheads (Happy, Dopey, and Oona) from the same parents, and our baby Bolt, who is Oona's kit with my lop Storm… They're all great bunnies, and thankfully we have (mostly) avoided serious health issues since we started our rabbit journey 7 years ago….
So our girl Kiko gets GI every few months. So all this is accurate. We've got the diet down i think I just need to start trimming her mane and doing more grooming sessions! Thank you so much for your video we absolutely adore our Lil lionhead!
I love this! Are you going to do a series on rabbit breeds? A video on the Dutchie would be wonderful. I hope you are finding some comfort and peace.
Could we get a video on one of the giant breeds? Flemish, continental?
Hi the π° you one time a video about rabbits π you would not own can you make a vid.on the rabbits π° you would own π₯
Can you do one in Jersey Woolies
Rex buns or New Zealand vs Florida Whites!
β€Lorelei Bless You. Adopted a French Angora πβ€
My bunny looks almost identical to the very first rabbit shown. He wakes me up whenever he gets hungry even if itβs at 2am. (Heβs a little princess sometimes) if you see this you should do American fuzzy lops next

OMG TYSMMMMM A LIONHEAD IS MY HEARTTYPE :0 (kinda like a spirit animal-itβs complicated) β€
Wow!I have one,named Furby.
I had a vienna marked dutch lionhead named Gypsy with the brightest blue eyes. She was hateful as heck but I loved her so much. She really didn't like humans but she tolerated me. lol. I would love to see a series about more rabbit breeds. A rabbit breed that I see rarely any coverage on, is the Silver Marten. I had a black otter silver marten, his name was goober and he was the sweetest, goofiest and best rabbit I have ever owned. I have heard they are very chill, sweet, and hearty, as far as health goes. My Goober passed away at the age of almost 10, he had osteosarcoma, which my vet said is insanely rare. But his whole life he rarely ever had to go to the vet, besides yearly checkups, until the last year of his life. And he was the bunny that all the vet techs fought over getting to hold and pet. Everyone just loved him. I think more people should know about Silver Marten rabbits.
Netherland dwarfs please. β€οΈ
YAY!!! This is what I have. π
My Buns is a Lion head Mix so I needed this
My Lion head Bunny i used to have she was a mix with lop and angora i think not completely sure, anyway she was so sassy and she LOVED to hold grudges but i loved her all the same haha
My 8yr old lionhead can confirm all of this, especially the big personality. The sassiest being I have ever met. He is extremely affectionate but that took time. He now thumps if I don't give him pets or cuddles when he wants. He's had a handful of GI stasis scares but usually resolved at home with critical care and belly massages. The one time his GI stasis didn't clear up with usual home care, I was shocked with a $2000 vet bill. Though that sucked, I'm just grateful he's ok.
I have 2 lioneheads Nala, daisy
I really hope you do more of these. Maybe you can do collabs with other creators. Or you could basically just consult with them and maybe feature a blurb and shout out their channel or feature their bun
Good to know the watery eyes is a relatively normal issue for my boy, Bean. I keep a close eye on it and do what I can to help minimize it, thankfully only had to get it treated at the vet once in the few years I've had him. Now if I could only figure out how to get him to quit digging at the carpet π after trying a number of different toys and things to keep him distracted, just placing some cardboard scratching things in his favourite corners seems to have us both happy. Between all the great info you and other channels have given me, my once scared and lonely bunny is now a sassy playful cuddly one who can give high fives!
I have 2 lion head Flemish mix rescues (siblings ) and I can tell you the lion head side is sassy !!! Yes I have 2 dwarf giants β¦ and sadly the tooth issues is very much true π
hiii i post rabbit content kindly subscribe
Thank you so much for this! We have a black lionhead, a single mane, and sheβs a beautiful little bunny and her love is beautiful β€
