About 4 days ago my brother stepped on a baby cotton tail. We took her in because her leg seemed to be broken and we planned to release her after she was healthy again. For the first two days her poops have been fine and small, but today they look weird and different. She's been pooping a lot and I'm not sure if we're overfeeding her or not. We've been feeding her kitten formula since we didn't have any bunny formula and we've never taken care of a bunny or any type of animal before. I think my brother did some research and we've been very careful to not stress her out or accidentally kill her. However, we are very inexperienced and this morning she fell from her plastic bowl as we did not have a cage to put her in (we bought a proper one today) so perhaps thats a reason. We haven't had any time to take her to a shelter or a vet, and im not sure there are any near us. If this is a big problem though then we will take her to the nearest one. The poop in the picture was stuck to her behind and i had to gently rub it to get it off her bum.
