Miss Tiggles and I are moving at the end of the month and I’m trying to figure out how I can do it as easily as possible for her.
So far I have decided that I will be waking up probably around 6am moving day to pack all her stuff up and move her to my new place before the movers get here. I want her in her new bedroom and tucked away with the door closed the whole time. I’m worried she will get scared and freaked out if I keep her here and move her last. It took her a while to come out and stop hiding from my cleaning lady.
That means the day before I will be setting up everything in her new bedroom. So that all I have to do is take her there and then make sure she has everything so I can go back and not worry about her.
Miss Tiggles has only lived two places. My home and the garage she was neglected in. So I kind of know how to help her get acquainted with her new place. The problem is that I need to buy her a new pen and all new stuff.
I love her current set up but she’s chewed it up so much and I’ve had to tape parts together. It just looks like a mess and I’m not sure if it will hold up moving. I don’t even know how to fold it up without ripping the whole bottom tarp.
So not only am I getting her a new pen. I getting her a larger one but it is a different kind. It’s plastic so it can’t rip but it’s so much bigger. And her current one she has to jump to get out of it and since she hurt herself I’ve noticed she’s had a harder time doing that. Plus without the tarp she will be able to see me better.
So if anyone has any ideas on how to make this easier that would be so helpful. I’m honestly more worried about moving her than anything else.
