Hello! I posted about my bunny, Cheese, 2 days ago when he got diagnosed with GI stasis. Yesterday, I noticed his stomach felt bigger compared to the day before, but it was soft so I tried not to think anything of it. He was active even 2 days ago. He didn’t seem like he was in pain, ran to me when I shook his treats, and ate pretty normally. He looked like he was recovering pretty well, especially considering his poops were starting to grow back to their regular size by the end of yesterday.
Today, I went downstairs to check his litter box and found no new poops, didn’t seem like a big deal since I went to bed 5 hours ago. When I woke up to let him out of the spare room (We keep him in a separate room when we feed the cats and let him out when they’re done eating) he didn’t run out the door like he usually does. I shook his treats so I wouldn’t have to crawl under the bed to get him, even waved the open jar around in his face but got no reaction! I gave him his medicine an hour early, he tried to refuse it as well (He’s been really cooperative the past 2 days, I think he likes the taste).
He looks like he’s in some pain, and moved around a couple times as I was typing this. I gave him a leaf of romaine lettuce in case he’ll eat it on his own, but still no interest. 🙁
Should I take him back to the vet? Or is this normal?
