Absolute nightmare and we had a pipe burst, pretty much leaving the hole downstairs under an inch of water. Could have been worse but still not great. Luckily the plumber has been and will be back to finish tomorrow and we're frantically trying to dry everything out.
But what to do with the bunnies? Boarding was not an option as we only trust our local rescue to board them and they are full, so they've had to go to my mum as the only person who will take them.
She's let me put George(photo) and Penelope in an x pen, thank goodness but Betty and Douglas will eat walls, carpet, and are generally very destructive so they have had to be caged. Not ideal.
We've had to juggle to keep Keith as he's super anxious and wouldn't cope with the stress of being somewhere else and our foster, Matthew, as he still needs daily wound care and meds.
This is the first night since George came to me at 3 weeks old just over three years ago, and I have slept in my own bed, that George hasn't slept here with me. Feels very strange. I can't wait to have them all home.
