I just watched the original 1978 version of Watership Down tonight (with my bunny, of course) – completely different now that I have a rabbit than when I saw it as a kid (it's not a kid movie at all).
The whole mythology of the rabbit – el-ahrairah, the origin story and the circle of life was awesome – if you're a rabbit person you should check it out.
