Hi everyone. I recently adopted a 3 year old female holland lop, Allie, for my male holland lop Ollie, who is also 3.
Ollie recently lost a companion a week ago, so I got a new companion for him. The new bunny was in a foster situation, so she’s been around.
The thing I’m worried about is that she has never been in a bond before, let alone had any interactions with other bunnies besides when she was born. So she’s a rookie.
Both bunnies are desexed, but my male bunny keeps honking and mounting her literally all of the time. I feel bad for her as she’s a really shy bunny and timid in her new environment.
I currently have them in a cardboard box (neutral territory). No fights seem to be occurring, however, my bunny’s mounting is ENDLESS. Anyone have words of advice or wisdom for this situation? Thanks 🙂

TLDR: recently adopted a bun named Allie (female) and she has never been in a bond or has had any interaction with buns other than when she was born. My original bun, Ollie (male), keeps mounting her nonstop. Allie is timid and shy. Both buns are desexed. Advice?
