The wire floor can be painful for their feet so they might be trying to distribute their weight by lying down often (although buns just love to lie down, too). Get an old (but clean) towel, fold it up, and lay it on the floor, sort of like a mat/bed for the bun. The towel doesn’t have to cover the whole floor — just a part of it.

Ditch the wire bottom cage altogether. Imagine laying on that, it has to hurt.

he’s very cute 🫶 and i promise he isn’t laying like that bc his feet hurt like someone else said 🙄. definitely check out some pens for him tho! 36 inches or higher is best
