Global liquidity radar: Exchange net inflow at 0 BTC as Asia volume drops 51%, U.S. 10%

Bitcoin balances on major exchanges were unchanged on a daily basis, while net outflows continued over weekly and monthly windows. Binance volume was highest during European hours, while Asia and U.S. session volume declined from the previous day.

As of 04:30 UTC on Oct. 10, major exchanges held about 2,435,394 BTC in total reserves.

Daily net inflow stood at about 0 BTC. Over the past seven days, exchanges recorded net outflows of 16,548.89 BTC, while the 30-day figure showed net outflows of 35,388.91 BTC, extending the medium-term decline in exchange balances.

Coinbase Pro held 836,652 BTC, the largest balance among major exchanges. Its daily net inflow was 0 BTC, while the seven-day figure showed net outflows of 3,793.91 BTC.

Binance held 653,517 BTC, the second-largest balance. Its daily net inflow was 0 BTC, and its seven-day figure showed net outflows of 18,199.23 BTC.

Bitfinex held 426,892 BTC, ranking third by balance. Its daily net inflow was 0 BTC, while the seven-day figure showed net inflows of 3,950.38 BTC.

Binance BTCUSDT volume was $241.09 million during Asian hours, $287.42 million during European hours and $200.62 million during U.S. hours.

Compared with the previous day, when Asia recorded $491.21 million, Europe $3.45 billion and the U.S. $222.46 million, Asian volume fell about 51%. European volume dropped about 92%, while U.S. volume declined about 10%.
