XKIG Acquires ClearPath Solutions Group To Expand Infrastructure And Emergency Management Capabilities

XKIG has acquired ClearPath Solutions Group, expanding its infrastructure services platform with additional capabilities spanning emergency management, strategic consulting, government relations, public safety and infrastructure support.

ClearPath will operate as part of XKIG’s Canopy Infrastructure Solutions business.

XKIG provides critical infrastructure services primarily to customers across the power and gas utility sectors.

The acquisition broadens the platform beyond traditional utility infrastructure work and is intended to give XKIG additional capabilities supporting customers before, during and after major emergencies and other critical events.

ClearPath provides strategic advisory and operational support along with emergency management, government relations and infrastructure-related services.

Its capabilities include debris management and removal, heavy civil construction, disaster recovery contracting, public works support and other specialized contracting services.

The company’s field resources and equipment allow it to mobilize for projects arising after major storms and disasters while also supporting longer-term infrastructure assignments.

By combining those capabilities with XKIG’s existing platform, management sees an opportunity to provide a wider range of services across the infrastructure lifecycle.

The transaction also gives ClearPath access to XKIG’s broader geographic footprint and customer relationships.

For XKIG, the addition increases the resources available for complicated projects requiring coordination among utilities, public agencies, contractors and other stakeholders.

KEY QUOTES:
