So me (19f) and my roommate (18f) got our bunny a couple days ago and we love him so so much. Me and her spent some time bunny proofing the house bc we are letting him free roam (with supervision) and he’s been doing fantastic so far! He is super friendly and much less anxious than we expected (he’s been flopping so we know he’s at-least semi happy lol), and we’ve had 0 issues with him chewing things, refusing food, or peeing outside of his designated area, EXCEPT for on my roommates bed. He’s a mini lop, 2 months old right now so he’s not neutered yet (he will be as soon as he can be) so we’re thinking that’s part of the problem. For context, my roommate does not have a door, she sleeps in half of the living room that we have converted to a bedroom space, and she keeps her bed on the floor. Other than just putting up a gate and keeping him out of that area of the house, or her getting a tall bed frame that he can’t reach, do you guys have any other ideas on how to keep him from peeing on her bed specifically? If the only solution is getting a gate or getting her a bed frame, of course we will do that, but if there are other ways to encourage him to avoid that area that would be great too.
