My girlfriend and I are wondering what side effects we might expect to see after giving our 3 month old bunnies Albon. It’s a long story but I’ll keep it short. Unfortunately we lost a rabbit hours after we got him due to dehydration from diarrhea. We were heartbroken even though we only knew the little guy for a short time, and we had no idea what the cause of his diarrhea was other than maybe stress. Anyways, we got a new rabbit from the same place (The Brown one), so our first bunny (the white one) wasn’t alone. After the fear and paranoia about losing another one of these guys, a few days ago we decided to take them to the vet. The vet took a poop sample and told us that the bunnies had eimeria (coccidiosis) and we needed to treat them. Both of these rabbits have been acting completely fine since we got them, showing no symptoms, absolutely nothing like our rabbit that had passed away. They have free range of the house while we are home and a big pen they can be in while we are at work. Treatment starts today and we want to make sure we know what side effects might arise and if so what we should do to keep them healthy and happy. Thank you!
