Had to trim my Lionhead rescue 😭

X rays at the vet yesterday confirmed he has an abscess and a possible jaw fracture at the abscess, possibly from the pressure of the abscess on his tiny jaw. His teeth have been a problem since the day I rescued him from the streets last year. We recently had his 6 front teeth removed, the abscess is where one of the teeth was prior to removal. He buries his face in his fur when I try to administer his meds, plus it's gonna be a very hot summer here in Florida and we've got a big road trip coming up, depending on where I can find a new job. Trimming his fur was the best option. I think he's still very handsome, despite my lack of grooming skills. The little tripod just can't catch a break 😭
