Absorbant flooring for rabbit with chronic kidney disease?

My 6.5 year old rabbit was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease last year. She's got the typical symptoms of pretty bad weight loss, but despite all that, she's super happy and active. We've been giving her IV fluids as frequent as we can, and unlimited food and pellets with some oats to keep her weight up. And of course with chronic kidney disease, she pees outside of their litterboxes (they have 2).

The issue I am running into is that she pees outside her litterbox a lot…. My buns are free roam but their 'home base' area currently cycles through multiple mats from being constantly soaked in pee. I am struggling to keep up with washing them, as I too an dealing with my own chronic illness and have been on disabled leave since last March. So having to wring out the mats before putting them into our washer has been difficult. We have a shared apartment laundry room and I like to rinse out the mats before washing, out of respect for others.

Since it's a lot of labor for me, I've decided maybe disposable pee pads or absorbant pads would be the best option. I hate all the waste it produces, but it has been difficult to keep up with cleaning the mats with the sheer amount of pee she produces. I was thinking of getting those large pee pads but wanted to ask the Rabbit community whether they have found better options! Especially since I'm worried they might chew on it… Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!!
