Hey y'all! I Have a question for those who have raised babies before, specifically ones with really woolen easily matting fur. My cinnamon (Attached above) is the sweetest thing, but she is a little skittish, i am sure to give her plenty of pets and try to do what i can with my hands but the moment a brush goes near her its just a big no from her, she does NOT handle being held so i have resorted to cutting mattes out to the best of my ability so she doesn't have any issues, i was wondering if anyone has any advice on how best to go about this without ruining any trust we have established. I have always kept up with grooming with my babies, but cinnamon is a special case since she is the first rabbit ive had that i didnt adopt when they were 3-4 years old and were used to it already.
