This is my two year old Holland Lop, Captain. Bit scary looking I know. He has beef with the brush and hands in general for a matter of fact (this is being worked on) The main issue at hand is he is currently molting again and no matter what brush I use it just will not take the bulk of the shed out of his coat. I own that purple brush that every rabbit owner lives and breathes for and it worked wonders for my past two rabbits, but it will not make a dent into Captain’s fur and he hates it like it’s public enemy #3! His coat is so dense, but not like a Rex’s I had a Rex mix before and my other Holland Lop showed no such denseness in his fur like Captain’s. I’m truly at a loss and he really hates being handled and brushed. If anyone with rabbits that have really dense fur coats have any brush recommendation I’m desperate at this point!
