Rabbit

any reason why he sits different as of this year?

my bunny, Taiga, is a 5 year old holland lop. He’s an extremely affectionate boy but is very selective with people. as in he quite literally only enjoys affection from me, and my boyfriend of 3 years.

He is a solo bunny as of right now although i’m attempting to change that. That being said, he spends most of his time happily sleeping or climbing around. during these midday naps, it was common to see him lay fully on his stomach or loaf, his ears relaxed. (ex pic 1)

within the the past year or so, suddenly he seems to be sitting a bit differently. His favorite position seems to be in a small perch, eyes squinted with his ears held back. (ex pic 2)

he’s had GI issues in the past as well as dental issues, but as of his most recent check up he’s perfectly healthy. Everything regarding his health and habits have still been normal, his stomach isn’t bloated like it usually is when he has an episode. i may just be paranoid but id never forgive myself if this was a warning sign for something bad.

TLDR; Bunny suddenly sleeping in a position resembling a pained hunch for the past year or so, but shows no other signs of discomfort/health issues.
