There's carpet treads on every step btw the mat is just for learning. Crow the Dutch mix and resident mountain goat quickly learned the stairs. Barnacle the little grey boy will climb anything that crow does. But the more either me or his bun wife try to coax him onto the steps the more resentful he becomes (Netherland dwarf sass). How can I show him that his two favourite places to chill are connected by these stairs and that he can use free will to go between them independently without insulting his intelligence?
