Hi! Yes yes I know they’re most likely mixed breeds, but a mix of *what*? Just wanna know for pure curiosity and fun! Different rabbit breeds are such a fun hyperfixation of mine to learn about, so I’d love any actual guesses ☺️
I fostered Mamma Mia and her 6 baby bunnies. 5 black, 1 orange! I adopted Carrot Cake (orange) and Flippy. Mami does have orange and white flecks in her fur, so I’m sure she carries the gene.
Mom is approximately 1 year old. 7.5 lbs. All the babies are now 5 months old in these pictures, but I included some itty bitty baby pics too!
Babies range from 6.5-7.5 lbs now at 5 months. At 5 weeks, they were all about 1-1.7 lbs.
New Zealand comes to mind, but mom weighs less than the range for that. She also is pretty lean with long front legs (almost like the Tan breed) and the babies are pretty leggy too! My vet thinks Flemish mix because of the ears.
