My sweet Pinecone just came back from the hospital. She has been really weak since sunday. On monday morning she was driven to a hospital as the medication given prior did not help. She was taken care of by two bunny specialists and had her blood work done. No EC. Severe inflammation in her digestive system. She had an ultrasound which showed nothing to be concerned about. Yet during her hospitalization and before that she started losing balance in her hind legs. Vet said it's due to severe trauma and her critical tummy condition. She started eating and pooping so we were allowed to take her home. We have to check on her and if she won't be getting better we have to show up again tommorow. Have any of you had this experience after a life threatening hospitalization?
