Rabbitry advice vs online advice for rabbit care

Probably because I like rabbits, I keep getting recommended videos by people who take care of show rabbits/livestock who say contradictary advice from what I see from rabbit people on this subreddit, exotic vets, or exotic specialists. Some say that wire bottom cages are better for rabbits as long as it has a certain gauge to prevent sore hocks. Some say that they don't need hay all the time. If you question them, they say that they listen to science. But I'd assume my vet would be telling me something different if that were true? I'd assume everyone's goals are to make sure their rabbits are living a great life. I'd expect there to be some differences, like some vets prescribe gut mobility drugs while others think they're useless, but the standard of care is so different between these two communities. Why?
