As goes the progress of getting Momo a bunfrend~ I have a fellow bunmum in my area that reached out saying her bun gave birth recently. And she looking to rehome the bunnies.
First of all I'd like to thank you to those that commented on my previous post asking whether I should get a female /male friend for Momo.
I'd like to address that in my country (Asia-indonesia) bunny shelters isn't really a thing. So a bunny speed dating session isn't really an option.
I understand ofcourse it's always the best choice to adopt. So I'm thankful I can help a fellow bunmum in my area.
So now the question goes, what are the ways to bond a adult spayed bunny with a baby bunny. I believe if I go with the baby bunny she'll be about 2 and half months old when I adopt her.
Another lucky coincidence is that I'll be at grandbunma house during this time. So they both will meet in a someone new area. (not Momo daily living area).
So when still a baby bunny. Is it OK for them to meet? (still seperate but in same room)
Is it OK to get the baby to slowly free roam & join Momo (before getting her spayed)?
Or do i have to keep the baby seperate (different rooms) at all times until she is spayed and then 1 month after recovery should I start slowly introducing them together?
Thank you all for the help and support.
Here's a cute pic of Momo side flop sleeping 💕
