I just wanted to share some memories of my girl Leia. I rushed her to a vet on Valentine’s Day, where she passed. She was 8-9 ish.

I've lost a lot of family over the years, including another bunny. But this one tore me apart. She declined so rapidly, and I feel immense guilt for not getting her to a vet sooner. I noticed that the water dish wasn't emptying as fast a couple days prior, but I never listened to her belly for movement. She didn't do the "belly press" to indicate she was gassy or anything. The vet said she was in shock of some sort, so there could have been compounding factors outside of stasis maybe the mixed greens I gave her had contamination?I look forward to the day I die and my ashes are mixed with those of my bunnies, and we are buried together.
