My bun just ate 10g of old gold dark chocolate original. I called the vet and they told me to bring her in but the second I told my mum she yelled that if i bring her i have to pay for it myself and I do not have that type of money. I know dark chocolate is one of the most dangerous chocolates and I have been giving her more and more hay as well as water. so far her poop is fine however her respiratory rate is a lot faster than the normal range and she is absolutely restless. I know that’s most likely the sugar but please if anyone has advice or suggestions let me know. She’s my best friend and I cannot imagine anything happening to her. I just want to know what else to look out for or if it will most likely be alright. She’s around 2.6kg (she’s kinda overweight) and in otherwise good health. I’m so scared.
