Our bunny currently eats alfalfa hay. He’s 6 months old next month so I know I need to switch soon. Should I start mixing with Timothy hay soon? I tried to about a month ago just to start adding little by little but he wouldn’t touch it and I’m worried he won’t get enough hay when we have to switch. I buy from small pet select now (the 5 lb box) and I don’t want to waste $ so trying to figure out my next hay purchase. When we did try Timothy mixed in it was just the brand from petsmart and quality didn’t seem great, it was gross and brown looking. Thanks!
