Maburu "Marbles" (grey and white furr) and Kiryu Kazuma (black and grey fur)… Maburu a rescue bun about 4 years old and Kiryu is 2.
They said Maburu wouldnt bond with another bunny when I started fostering her. That it was highly unlikely after she had been returned because she was "aggressive" It took 2 weeks of incredibly slow introductions and bathtub bonding.
Prior to me taking her home… she was returned after a week of being around 2 already bonded bunnies. Sort of a recipe for disaster when Marbles already had food aggression.
She was left at a rescue center in Japan inside of a donation bin outside the facility. The people who left her never notified the nonprofit rescue center.
The box was meant for dog food donationa and toys etc.
She was in a wooden box for 3 and a half days no food or water. It's a miracle she survived. And it's a blessing to have her in my life.
She has brightened up Kiryu's life. He was a bachelor for about a year until I found Ms.Marbles. Anyways, rescues are worth a try. Always. Just be patient. ❤️
