I am adopting a 6 month old female lionhead from a lady this week. She is passing along all her housing things and whatnot, but I have a feeling I will need to upgrade to something else. She is currently in a playpen, which is awesome, and she will be out a lot.
The conundrum: I have four cats, and the lady has reassured me that she dotes on kitties and likes them. I have no problem with my cats being around a rabbit, especially because they will always be in my vision. But, my concern is at night and my cats wanting to get into the pen or the bunny coming out. What kind of pen can I have to avoid this? I don’t have a problem keeping bunny in my room at night, and locking out 3/4 cats (one sleeps with my husband and I no matter what and will leave bunny alone). What do you setups looks like? Where does your bunny go when you sleep? I’m just nervous about having a small slightly free range creature running around my home.
